Frankly speaking, no one can deny the fact that the Audi R8 is a great sportscar and it will be a real mistake not to make some changes and create a real and bold race car out of it. I am extremely happy that its manufacturers are of the same opinion and they are going to produce within a year the first full GT3-spec race version of the Audi R8.

The director of the Audi enterprise claims that for a long time they wasn’t sure whether to create this version or not. But finally they made the right decision and decided to offer customers a racing sportscar equipped with high-calibre technology and the usual and reliable Audi qualities.

This model can will boast 500hp power and correspond to GT3 standards. The car will come with a very comfortable and reliable GT rear-wheel drive system and a brand new six-speed sports sequential gear box. The car will be released in the end of 2009.

I love this Audi. I have to admit though that almost every supercar looks great to me!
