Due to some facts, the vehicle will be based on the new global Ford Focus platform, and it will be a fully electric vehicle, with one and electric engine. Ford engineers claim to try their best and to create a vehicle that will offer a range of up to 100 miles on a single charge. There are some rumours that the car will be a joint project of Ford and Magna International, Inc.

The manufacturers want to reduce the expenses by creating a new vehicle and taking the existing Magna as an inspiration. Most likely, the car will cost much less than the Chevrolet Volt, that is approximately 40,000.
