I love watching Paris Motor Shows. All of them have something to impress us and to leave us with our mouths slightly-agape. This year I was more than surprised to enjoy the Renault Ondelios concept car. It was named after the French word for wave (“onde”) and the Greek god of the sun, Helios. The car belongs to the quickly expanding luxury crossover segment.

The most interesting part of the car is located … Well, she shall see what we shall see. The car comes with two 20 kW electric motors, one of them is located on the front axle and the other on the rear. The car works on energy solely and it is called the next generation diesel-electric hybrid. CO2 emissions are unexpectedly low – 120 grams of CO2 per kilometer.

The whole body was created in order to minimize the concept’s wind resistance and ensure incredible fuel economy. The car was created in accordance with the latest high-tech requirements and 6 passengers can feel themselves comfortable in it.
