Toyota has announced its new iQ micro-subcompact car on the US market. However, the IQ will become a Scion. Toyota is going to unveil the concept version of the iQ at the upcoming New York auto show. As to the tech specs they are almost the same and really impress:

Toyota iQ

  • IQ will come with a 1.3 liter, 4-cylinder engine (not the one that has been unveiled in Geneva);
  • the car is a 3-cylinder powering one;
  • it can be already found in the Japanese and European markets;
  • if to consider the 1.0 liter version, it produces 68 hp and 91 Nm (67 lb-ft) of torque while and the 1.3 liter one offers 99 hp;
  • the mileage is rather small – 4 liters/100 km or 4.3 liters/100 km for the 3-cylinder.

All these make a car more than reliable and quick city-monster.
