New Citroen C-Cactus

If to have a closer look at the Frankfurt Auto Show 2007, it is possible to notice, that each company decided to be so ecologically correct and environmentally friendly, that it is even difficult to believe and sometimes sounds too good to be truth!

Citroen has made a new car, that is a combination of nature protection and economy. Citroen C-Cactus, a very strange name to a car, but it is metaphoric, this car is an embodiment of the economize petrol consuming, so it needs as much fuel, as the cactus needs water. If to be precise, new Citroen needs 3.4 L of fuel for 100 km. And the number of emissions in the atmosphere is fantastic! In a good sense of this word! It is as minimal as possible: 78g/kg of carbon dioxide. This car is focused on essential values, on comfort and ergonomics.

Rather cheap, taking into consideration the whole advantages of the car!

Let’s go forward, both car interior and exterior and each detail are thought-over. Some functions were united, some parts removed, all these gave additional comfort to the car.

Hopefully, Citroen will pass America’s many strict standards (safety, emissions, etc.) and be allowed to sell their cars here again.

With Prius seen everywhere, we need more stylish green cars here.

It's so true. The CVT (continuously variable transmission) operates smoothly with no jerking and having more speeds these days (6 as opposed to 3-5) means better gas mileage, too.
