2008 Wiesmann GT MF 5

Wiesmann GT MF 5, the name seems to be rather simple and not promising at all. But, very often appearance is deceitful, so let’s find out, whether it is true or not.

This car from Wiesmann is called a super sport car. How often do we hear or read this inscription? I think even more then often and sometimes it doesn’t convey any sense and means nothing. But, according to Friedhelm Wiesmann, this car is a new stage in their company development and it really deserves the status of super sport car, it is a real monster on the wheels. First of all, the appearance is unusual, then it can be proud of unbelievable stability while on the road and moreover, it ensures, safe (it can be easily proven: serial ABS combinedenergy, stiff aluminium monocoque, absorbing car body parts) and comfortable driving. As it was already told, it is not a car, it is a monster and sometimes it can be really difficult to cope with it, so the manufacturer didn’t forget about it: the seats were designed in such a way to ensure excellent back support, also they can be adjusted to the contours of the driver’s body. Thus, it is no use to be afraid of acceleration force. Wiesmann GT MF 5 is just a new, advanced version of M4 and it became a little bit longer and wider. Actually, it was presented at the Frankfurt Auto Show 2007. The following technical specification can amazed you, but it is truth:

What about engine?

  • V10 Front-mounted mid-engine;
  • 10 cylinders and 4 valves;
  • max. torque: 520 Nm;
  • max. power: 373 KW (507 HP);
  • CO2 emission: 357 g/km;

And now comes the turn of general specifications, such as weight, length and other.

  • weight: 1,380 kg;
  • length/width/height: 4,300 / 1,956 / 1,170 mm;
  • wheelbase: 2,507 mm;

One of the most interesting facts is, of course, driving performance:

  • acceleration 0-100 km/h: 3.9 s;
  • top speed: 310 km/h;

And it goes without saying, that such a car must be comfortable and has everything onboard, so talking about everything I mean:

  • leather luxurious interior;
  • central locking system;
  • oil temperature/pressure gauge;
  • glove box with lighting;
  • Xenon headlamps;
  • refrigerator;
