Despite all the attempts of the manufacturers to conceal the first photos of the new VW Golf GTI Concept they has leaked. Let me remind you, that the car was due to be debuted next week in Paris. The GTI Concept looks like a completely new version in the VW model like. It receives Adaptive Chassis Control (ACC) that allows to choose between three ride level settings ranging from ‘comfort’ to ‘normal’ and ‘sport’. Also the car comes with the electronic limited slip differential (XDS).

The GTI concept features the 2.0-litre four cylinder TSI engine and it takes the car 7.2 seconds before reaching a top speed of 148 mph. So it the the bloody speed one and the fastest car among GTI. The interior is typical and it boasts just a flat-bottomed black leather steering wheel and special sports seats. The Golf GTI will hit the markets in spring 2009.

It's so true. The CVT (continuously variable transmission) operates smoothly with no jerking and having more speeds these days (6 as opposed to 3-5) means better gas mileage, too.
