Jay Leno (a legendary car collector) together with the engineering company Pratt & Miller rebuilt a C6.R Corvette and developed a modified Corvette Z06. What for? It is capable of operating on E85 ethanol without prejudice to speed performances. The supercar was shown at the 2007 SEMA Show.

This Corvette now can be called an exact copy of the racecar, because of the following elements installation:

  • Brembo brakes;
  • Ram-air and carbon-fiber induction system;
  • Special radiator with extreme cooling fans;
  • Dyna-mat and perfect insulation inside the car;
  • The cabin resembles a cabin of any race car but with some luxurious elements: leather, interior trim kit, 2-tone shift knob etc.

In general, new Corvette from Jay Leno and Pratt & Miller is a new type of the US supercar: bold, luxurious, providing high driving performance and at the same time being environmentally friendly.

To many people Leno’s interest in environmentally friendly cars creating was a real surprise.
