Opel Flextreme Concept as many other cars was presented at the popular International Auto Show in Frankfurt and can be proud of its unusual design. What is more, it is a really electric and environmentally friendly car, it is perfect at reducing CO2 emissions into the atmosphere. It possesses a 1.3 turbo engine, it speed up to 55 kph, from the first sight, it can seem, that it is not a car at all and it is easier to use your feet than to drive at such a speed. But, be fair, are you driving at a speed 100 kph (when you are using a usual road?) Of course, not… So, this speed is enough for a usual city driving.

Tokyo Auto Show 2007 is only about to start, but, already millions of photos are made and leaked into the web. Each representative and manufacturer made something new, incredible, possessing no analogy in the world. Let’s, for example, take Yamaha – they reported to make a brand new motorcycle. So, they are talking about a rather exciting concept, named the Tesseract. It is so unusual not because of its functions, road behavior or engine, it possess 4 wheels, and now it is possible to mistaken it with a car. So, it is even difficult to name it a motorcycle. Concept car. This word-combination is in a common use nowadays, but, as for me, I have never been thinking what it is all about. And not so far I made it clear to myself and now ready to share my knowledge with you.

A concept car can also be called a show car, it is not actually, a car – it is a prototype of car, produced in order to show a cutting-edge technique, a new way of car producing, styling and much more. As a rule, such cars are made to be shown at various motor shows and are aimed to draw public’s attention and to show main trends of the following season.
