Rinspeed has made a brand-new car – “sQuba” concept, that will be released on the car’s 2008 Geneva Motor Show debut in March. This Swiss company names “sQuba” the “first real diving car”. Although the following pictures are just a computer animation, the concept itself looks promising and it seems to came out of a James Bond movie.

This amazing car is predicted to protrude to water depth of up to 10 meters, what is more it’s capable to drive on roads. In such a way Rinspeed boss Frank M. Rinderknecht  will realize his dream – to make a car from movie fictions. For example like in the James Bond film hit “The spy who loved me”.

This “sQuba” has an electric motor, so it has zero emissions and zero pollution. It’s light weight and it’s components are made of futuristic Carbon Nano Tubes, so a driver and one passenger will be supplied with fresh air.

Most likely, that “sQuba” will never hit markets and will stay an exclusive one-off vehicle.

It’s so awful to spy! But, sometimes you can do nothing with your curiosity. It was exactly so with 2009 BMW 7 Series: I just want to know, how it will look like. So, new flagship sedan from BMW.

The design has been changed:

  • more elliptically shaped lamps;
  • taillamps are slimmer;
  • there will be more electronics in this car;
  • more userfriendly layout;
  • the hood became lower;
  • car looks very sporty;

Hi, dear car-lovers! I’m glad to inform you about starting a new category: “Photo or phrase of the day!” So, less words, more photos or nice phrases. Sometimes photos really speak louder than words and even texts, narrations, stories…

I like Internet surfing very much, so, yesterday I found an incredible photo – it is from Russia. It shows us the point where the future meets the past. Two various trains, one is a completely new, modern one and another, is like a guest from the past life. Their contrast is really stunning, so… enjoy!!!

It's so true. The CVT (continuously variable transmission) operates smoothly with no jerking and having more speeds these days (6 as opposed to 3-5) means better gas mileage, too.
