All Bond cars are posh, expensive and bright, but, unfortunately, none of them, has made such a stir, as Aston made. This car is not just as a beautiful image, it is a powerful one: engine – 4.0 L, top speed – 230 km/h and it weighs 1565 kg.

   

3. 1981 DeLorean DMC-12, (of course, it was seen in “Back to the Future”)It was a hybrid – a rear thing for those times, possessed 5-speed manual transmission, gull-wing doors… The main peculiarity – it is not just a car – it is a plane as well. It can both fly and ride at a very high speed. This car is not so beautiful and authoritative as the first two, but we adore dreaming and actually, why not? Moreover, we have to say “thank you” to the manufacturer, because it was the only one car produced by the company De Lorean. Its prototype was ready in 1977 and the production stopped in 1982. It looks a little bit strange, and even ugly, and still reminds a guest from the far planet. There was made only 9 000 thousands of these cars and 6 500 are still believed to be alive. You can try to find one!

   

4. 1961 Ferrari 250 GT, (it was a star of the famous “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off”)Ferrari, of course, no list can be full without this name. Red Ferrari with convertible roof, to tell the truth, it always was and will be one of the most expensive and authoritative cars. This movie has completely changed the youth attitude to life, since the release of this movie, millions of teens started driving their fathers cars. Oh, I have almost forgotten to mention – this car is so fast… Hold tight!

   

5. 1968 Ford Mustang GT 390, (it was specially designed fo the movie “Bullitt”)Pay attention, a 7-minute scene made this car popular and cooler than Dodge Charger. Chase while driving this car is one of the most memorable among the whole movie chases.

This title was given to a lot of cars and now it goes to a small, but super fast car – SSC (that can be deciphered as Shelby Super Car). It was founded in Washington, but I has found info about it here.

So, SSC Ultimate Aero TT is not about luxury at all, this car is aimed to make you the King of the road and understand, that you are driving one of the fastest car in the world. Its design is slippery (I like its front view the most). SSC possesses a powerful engine (LS6, bumped to 6.3 L, it provides: astronomical output of 1,183 horsepower and torque of 1,094 lb-ft), 7-speed twin-clutch DSG gearbox, non-automated manual transmission, no electronics to help driver make his deal – driving.

Top speed of SSC Aero TT is 411.89 km/h and what is even more interesting, this record was achieved not at the speed-testing places, but at the usual closed road. The record is not officially recognized by Guinness but it will be!

This car is not just a supercar, it is a dream car. I just can’t take my eyes from it, I love it! But… It costs just 8 million dollars!

This car was presented in 2005 but it is still much spoken about. It can be named one of the most expensive cars in the world. It is a perfect show car. So, the new Maybach Exelero is a 2-seat car with a free-breathing, twin-turbocharged, 5.9-liter V-12 engine. New Maybach is an ultra-lux sedan with highly durable tires and very very powerful.

So, first of all, before driving such a car, try not to forget about facts: only 2 passengers can share this car and they must be friends, because they will have to sit too close to each other, the direction of sitting – slightly behind and to the side. Also, it is impossible to drive such a car onto long distances. Moreover, while driving it is possible to mistaken this car with a jet plane and if you are fond of watching landscapes from the window of a car – FORGET IT! This car reaches 60mph in 2.5s, it can speed up to 205 mph!!! The car will look definitely strange, I mean on the roads, also, you will look a bit smaller, if you happened to stuck in a traffic gem near Arnold Schwarzenegger Hummer. The new car is not comfortable at all, you can’t take too many things with you, just a mobile phone or something like that and you will put it in your own pocket.

The T1 has rather good brakes (but as for me it is useless try to stop a car, while driving 200 mph). The Caparo possesses the 3.5 L engine was developed together with Menard and as it was already said it has a blistering speed.

As for me, I think, this car will cost a great number of money and won’t be very popular (among not very wealthy people). Because it is a car for collection or a 1 hour driving together with a friend, so rich collectors will buy it, for sure.

To tell the truth, this car was almost ready, the reason is it didn’t has a reliable cooling system, after its invitation, Bugatti Veyron 16/4 was finally made.

• Dauer 962 Le Mans

This car is already 13 years old. But it is still a rather competitive one. its max speed 251.4 mph. There are two versions of this yellow monster a road (street) one and, of course, a race one. The first type debuted in 1993, and Dauer worked at a race car version – he was preparing it to ‘ 24 Hours of Le Mans. Actually, this cat won the competition, left its trace in history and Dauer turned his attention back to road cars manufacturing.

• Vector WX3 Concept

Year of appearing 1992. Max speed 250 mph. This car was created in California by Vector Aeromotive Corporation of Wilmington. According to the original idea this car has to be painted silver and nowadays it has a light green colour. to its designer this car was a first step to realizing of its dream – making a super-car WX-3 with max speed 253 mph.
