Not so far Suzuki has unveiled in Paris their new and hot high-end motorcycle the Gladius 650. The bike offers a brand new opportunity of riding excitement, and what is more, it perfectly meets both the requirements of style and speed lovers.

The new Gladius not only looks great but it rides amazing. The bike is a low seat and a fuel-injected one. What most people will like about it, the production costs were kept as low as possible. That is why the bike became a lightweight but it still offers reliability and fantastic performance.

The bike comes with a powerful engine and air-cooled L-twin cylinder with 2 valves per cylinder. According to the manufacturer the V-Twin SV650 engine does 70bhp.

As to the exterior, to my mind the bike looks fantastic and there is nothing cheap about its appearance. The headlight is stylish, the bike boasts 17” wheels, and a Monster-style frame that comes in a number of colours.

Yeah, we are not mistaken, Suzuki Hayabusa was one of the most glamorous and coolest bikes, ever existing on our streets. He is , as well, one of the fastest bikes. Hayabusa is a very popular model and it was no need, to change this model. The only differences are in the size of engine, it was increased from 1299cc to 1340cc and a new suspension was put. The compression ration went up to 2.5:1, from 11.0:1. This new renovated model has titanium valves, brand-new fuel injection system and chrome-moly con-rods. Now it can be treated as the most powerful bike, it has more than 180 horsepower at the rear wheel. New ‘Busa weighs not more than 220 kg and its maximum speed 300km/h. Its main opponent is Kawasaki ZZR1400.

By the way, some features, that are peculiar, exceptionally to this model. It has three-way drive mode selector switch, main function of this new technology is to facilitate driving in wet-weather conditions. Some other technical innovations as: revised twin-spar aluminium frame, powerful rear subframe, rigid swingarm and fully-adjustable suspension.

It is one of the most long-awaited bikes. Hayabusa’s fans will be slightly disappointed, because the appearance and look of this bike hadn’t changed. Almost hadn’t change. It seems, that only a small evolution took place. And, no doubts, new version is much more beautiful and very very pretty. This bike has all chances to become the King of the road!
